As we usher in the Year of the Tiger, we are heading to a ‘roaring’ start throughout the months of January and February. After a fun and successful event for Christmas, the Outdoor Adventure family took to the seas in the month of February. Equipping ourselves with water for hydration and food to keep our bellies filled!
Chinese New Year steamboat on boat paddle!
Travelling far and wide, it wasn’t easy but we stuck together as a team and that is what matters! It was fun and a celebration was in order once we reached our destination! So we paddled and worked hard. Now it was time to feast like a king! What’s CNY without the ubiquitous Lo Hei? HUAT AH!
We then fired up our outdoor sustainable cooking packs and shared a bountiful steamboat feast, soaking in the CNY cheer!
Done with the prosperous feast, we then chilled by the shore taking in the beautiful scenery mother nature offers her children before embarking on our journey back home! This event was our first expedition to open all enthusiasts across any competency levels, and what a story it was!
