Paddling Further Together – Our Ubin Expedition Story
On 7 December, we set off on an exciting kayaking expedition to Pulau Ubin with a vibrant group of 24 paddlers — one of our largest consumer expeditions in recent times, and an unforgettable day on the water.
Many participants of different ages were eager to experience sea kayaking for themselves. While most were beginners, they arrived with open minds, great energy, and a strong willingness to challenge themselves.
The Ubin route was no easy paddle, but the group pushed on together, encouraging one another every step of the way. Reaching the island was a proud moment for everyone. We took a well-earned break on Pulau Ubin, enjoying dessert, rest time, and plenty of smiles before heading back — tired, happy, and accomplished.
One of the most heart-warming highlights of the day was having a participant join the expedition with her dog — a wonderful reminder that our adventures are pet-friendly and open to sharing meaningful moments with our furry companions too.
After the expedition, participants shared their experiences via social media, spreading the excitement and showing that sea kayaking is for anyone willing to give it a try. Watching first-timers grow in confidence and complete a challenging route is exactly what these journeys are about.
