SeaOPS 2 Star Stand Up Paddling Certification Course (R&F Marina JYRC @ Johor , Malaysia.)

Course Outcome: Able to use a tandem board on a buddy level, plan and execute an expedition under 6km, and able to do self rescue competently

Time: 0900 – 1600 hrs (includes short breaks)
Cost: S$120 per pax
Minimum attendance to start the course: 5 pax

THEORY

• Basic Equipment Knowledge
• Expedition Theory (Tide Table / Map Reading)
• 3E (Equipment, Environment, Element)

PRACTICAL 

• Equipment Handling (Carrying Technique, 1 Man, 2 Men)
• Embarking & Disembarking Techniques (Tandem)
• Launching & Coming Ashore (Pontoon & Beach, Tandem)
• Forward Paddling in Tandem
• Reverse Paddling in Tandem
• Side Maneuvers in Tandem
• Sweep Strokes (Forward & Reverse) in Tandem
• Side Draws in Tandem
• Basic Maneuvers on Board (Small Waves in Tandem)
• Buddy Paddling Techniques
• Expedition of at least 6km
• E Propulsion
• Navionics
• Marine VHF.

Remarks: Identify our instructors wearing full black and our bright yellow boards.

Please see the list of things to bring:

1. Water bottle (At least 1 litre is a MUST)
2. Bring in your own lunch/snacks!
3. Dri-fit Shirt/Long Sleeves/Rash guard/Tights/
4. Water Booties / covered shoes (sacrifice to get wet)/ sports sandals with straps
5. Sunscreen/Cap/Sunglasses
6. Towel, change of clothes/footwear and toiletries
7. Extra masks and sanitizer (as required)
