DESCRIPTION:Aim: To introduce sea kayaking to beginnersEnvironment: Sea Minimum attendance to start the course: 5 pax Type of Craft: Single Seat Decked Sea Kayaks • Personal Kayaking Equipment • Expedition Theory Part 1 • Weather Hazards • Environmental HazardsPractical • Carrying and lifting of kayaks with and without assistance • Launching off and coming ashore (for both beach and pontoon/berth) • Paddle strokes • Capsize Drill with assisted rescue using bilge pumps • Emptying of water on land • Emptying of water in sea • Expedition of at least 3km Remarks: Identify our instructors wearing full black and our bright yellow boards Please see the list of things to bring: 1. Water bottle (At least 1 liter is a MUST) 2. Bring in your own lunch/snacks 3. Dri-fit Shirt/Long Sleeves/Rash guard/Tights 4. Booties/ covered shoes (sacrificed to get wet )/ sports sandals with straps 5. Sunscreen/Cap/Sunglasses 6. Towel, change of clothes/footwear and toiletries 7. Extra masks and sanitizer (as required)
